Just as expected, T-Mobile announced the Samsung Galaxy Relay 4G today.
Official details are slim, but we do know that the Relay 4G is an Android smartphone based on the Galaxy S design. It'll be available on September 19 for $149.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate card, and with a new two-year service agreement.
Luckily, we also learned from previous leaks that the Relay 4G is the successor to the Galaxy S Blaze 4G: it should feature Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a 4-inch super AMOLED display, a 5-megapixel camera, and a 1.3-megapixel front-camera. Word on the street also points to a 1.5-GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor, and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
We've asked T-Mobile for more details, and will update this section when we have them.
We're still waiting for the official shots of the Samsung Galaxy S Relay 4G, but expect it to look like this.
